3 Different levels of embedding

Fully Embedded

A dedicated librarian is fully immersed in the D2L course for the duration of the semester. The librarian has access to the syllabus and all assignments, posts relevant links and search strategies for students enrolled in the course, interacts with students and faculty member via discussion board, chat, and email. The librarian is also available for face-to-face meetings (scheduling appointments is highly encouraged). The librarian also provides video tutorials and specially designed, course-related LibGuides. Full collaboration with the faculty member is required.

On Time

A dedicated librarian is present when assignments are given and is involved in the class until the day the assignment is due. The librarian is available to students and faculty via discussion board, chat, and email. The librarian is also available for face-to-face meetings (scheduling appointments is highly encouraged).

Basic

No dedicated librarian. A link to the library's homepage is provided along with links to various LibGuides and tutorials of interest. A librarian is available for face-to-face meetings (scheduling appointments is highly encouraged).
